Job summary

TriHaz Solutions LLC is seeking a Route Driver in Huntsville, AL. You will manage routes, ensure timely waste pickup, and maintain safety and compliance with federal, state, and local rules while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires reading maps, using android tablets, and maintaining a clean driving record. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to graduation from high school and ability to read a map, interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to use electronic devices for route completion (e.g. android tablets).
• Two or more years of driving experience preferred; CDL not required but a plus.
• Maintains current required driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance and up to 60 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned routes ensuring waste pickup is timely and accurate.
• Plans daily schedule based on customer needs and paperwork.
• Picks up waste from customer sites and ensures proper packaging per regulations.
• Provides top level customer service and communicates issues to supervisor.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports maintenance issues.
• Reports changes to route pickups and coordinates with dispatcher.
