Midwest Presort Service provides postage discounts and comprehensive letter shop services, including inserting, folding, statement printing, metering, labeling, tabbing, ink-jetting, OCR sorting, and bar-coding. The company offers convenient pick-up services starting at 500 letters per pickup and same-day delivery to the Indianapolis Post Office. An on-site USPS Acceptance Clerk helps ensure efficient processing and compliance with postal regulations. Midwest Presort uses advanced software for address processing, certification, and move updates, and offers direct mail consulting, mail piece design, and printing services. Team members work in a detail-oriented environment that supports customers in preparing mail accurately and cost-effectively.

Role Description

The Route Driver/Mail Sorter is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN. This role includes driving company trucks to pick up and deliver mail from customer locations to the facility and to the post office, following established routes and schedules. The team member will sort, organize, and prepare mail for processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with postal requirements. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading mail containers, verifying documentation, and collaborating with the operations team to meet deadlines. The role also involves interacting with customers during pickups, providing courteous service, and communicating any issues or delays to supervisors.

HOURS ARE FROM 11:30AM-8PM EVERY WEEKDAY. NO WEEKENDS.

DEPENDING ON MAIL VOLUME, ADDITIONAL HOURS MAY BE AVAILABLE.

Needs to be able to lift up to 50lbs. (most mail trays weigh about 18lbs.)
