Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company while delivering and picking up freight. Tasks include loading the truck, reporting mechanical issues, and ensuring professional appearance during daily routes.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM start with 10-15 hours of OT weekly; wage starts at $20.00–$24.00 hourly, based on experience, with voluntary weekend OT and time-and-a-half after 40 hours.

Competenze

• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• DOT physical exam may be required.

Mansioni

• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any vehicle mechanical problems.
• Load the truck to maximize space and prevent damage.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify contents of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
