Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company while delivering and picking up freight. You will operate in a fast paced environment, maintain professional appearance, and ensure timely service to customers on a daily route.

Starting wage is $20.00-$24.00 per hour, with paid overtime after 40 hours and potential additional weekend OT. Hours are Monday to Friday with 7:30 AM start times and overtime might total 10–15 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a manual transmission or willingness to learn.
• Good customer service skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight with accuracy and timeliness.
• Inspect and report vehicle mechanical issues.
• Load the truck efficiently to maximize space and protect packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages.
• Verify pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
