Job summary

Home of Hope in Oklahoma seeks a dedicated professional to build employment opportunities for clients and to facilitate placement and retention in vocational settings.

You will counsel clients to obtain and sustain social services, advocate for client needs, and coordinate with employers to ensure job training and support are available. This position emphasizes client-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 6 months of route driving in a service-oriented setting.
• Skills: strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication; basic math; proficient with office equipment.
• Ability: organize tasks and records; good judgment; willing to travel intrastate with possible overnight stay.
• Licenses: valid driver's license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation; able to operate vehicle day/night.
• First Aid/CPR Training required.
• Pre-employment drug screen required; subject to random/post-accident/causes drug screens.
• Willing to work schedules based on client needs and overtime.
• Learn and follow Individual Plan (IP) of clients.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate or provide necessary services for client to achieve social and vocational integration.
• Develop client-specific jobs by matching skills to occupations and solicit employers.
• Assist employers with training issues and arrange for adaptive devices or mentoring as needed.
• Develop natural supports on and off the job and facilitate transportation or other resources.
• Complete documentation to support billing, including job success plans and assessments.
• Interpret and implement contracts and stay current with regulatory developments.
• Assist client in achieving maximum potential and self-determination.
• Assist Retail Manager with daily scheduling and communication during manager absence.
