Job summary

Reino Linen Service in Brownstown Charter Township, MI is seeking a Route Driver CDL to operate our delivery trucks, pick up hospital linen, and serve multiple medical facilities with professional customer service.

You will perform pre- and post-route inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and ensure on-time deliveries while upholding company safety rules.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Class A license.
  • Six months to one year driving experience.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Able to work nights and weekends.
  • Able to lift up to 800 lbs on wheels.
  • Must read and speak English.
  • Able to sit in a vehicle for long periods.

Responsibilities

Route Driver CDL

Full Time Hourly Direct Hires Brownstown Charter Township, MI, US

PURPOSE :

To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY :

Operate company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linen at multiple medical facilities. Load and unload laundry carts. Establish professional relationship with customers and provide quality customer service. Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections. Maintain DOT compliance and follow hours of service rules. Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

  • Ability to properly maintain required daily and weekly paperwork
  • Perform a daily visual inspection of the equipment
  • Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Cross-train on other routes per department needs
  • Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
  • Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day
  • Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
  • Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
  • Valid Class A driver’s license
  • Must have clean driving record per company policy
  • Have six months to one-year experience
  • Be available to drive nights and weekends
  • Ability to speak and read the English language
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day
  • Be able to use repetitive arm motions
