Position Summary

The primary purpose of a Commercial Driver is to deliver finished product and pick up soiled product at our customer locations (hospitals and healthcare facilities). This position will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Collect finished carts: roll the carts from the load building area to the back dock.
• Load the delivery truck by pushing the carts onto the back of the appropriate truck.
• Deliver clean linen products to customers.
• Transport soiled linen back to plant.
• Follow all federal, state, and local requirements according to DOT rules and regulations.
• Follow all OSHA rules as they apply to blood‑borne pathogens.
• Coordinate daily activities with Transportation, Plant Managers, and Team Leaders.
• Adapt to change and unscheduled events.
• Maintain vehicle, perform preventative maintenance, and keep the vehicle clean and disinfected after transporting soiled linen.
• Work rotating shifts.
• Observe and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned.
