Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring for a South Burlington, VT position focused on fast-paced, customer-facing junk removal. You will work in teams to inspect vehicles, visit homes, provide accurate estimates, and complete the removal of items with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You must be 21+, have a valid license (CDL not required), and a clean 3-year driving record. Strong communication and physical ability to lift 50lbs+ are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old (required for commercial truck insurance).
• Possess a valid driver's license (No CDL required).
• Clean driving history for 3 years (no points, suspensions, or violations).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Kick off the day with vehicle inspection and a morning meeting.
• Work in two-person teams to visit customers' homes, remove items, and leave smiles.
• Provide detailed estimates/quotes and finalize pricing with customers.
• Dispose of items responsibly through recycling, donation, and waste facilities.
• Maintain daily communication with the operations team to run efficiently.
• Support the community by helping those in need.

We’re looking for driven, high-performing individuals to join our South Burlington, VT team. A typical day includes:

• The day starts with a commercial vehicle inspection, followed by a morning meeting.
• Teams of two will head out in our shiny blue trucks to visit customers’ homes and properties and take away their unwanted items while leaving smiles on their faces
• Provide detailed estimates/quotes and final pricing to each customer
• Once your truck is full, you will dispose of items responsibly through our recycling, donating, and waste management facilities
• To run efficiently, teams must maintain communication throughout the day with our dedicated and fun operations team

What We Offer:

Flexible Scheduling:

• We operate 7 days a week
• Full-time - 4 Shifts per week ( 8-12 hour shifts)
• Part-time- 2-3 Shifts per week ( still 8-12 hour shifts)
• Immediate start dates & paid training

Total Average Earnings: $24-$28/ hour
