1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Charlotte, NC is seeking Truck Team Members / Customer Service Representatives to drive our junk trucks, load items, and engage customers. You will quote rates, learn our pricing, and help recycle and donate items as part of daily duties.

This role requires 21+ for insurance, a clean driving record, and a great attitude. Benefits include 4-day work weeks, paid training, bonuses, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old for commercial insurance eligibility.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license (No CDL required).
• Clean driving history for 3+ years with no points or violations.

Responsibilities

• DRIVING: operate the Isuzu NPR 17-20 ft truck to customer locations.
• LIFTING & LOADING: remove items from customer properties into the truck.
• CUSTOMER SERVICE: provide a positive, friendly customer experience.
• SALES & NEGOTIATION: quote removal items; training provided.
• RECYCLING & DONATION: support eco-friendly disposal and donations.
• TIME MANAGEMENT: manage your day like running your own business.

A Typical Day:

• DRIVING: You will be responsible for driving our Isuzu NPR 17-20 ft 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck to customer locations
• LIFTING & LOADING: remove unwanted items from our customer's property into our truck
• CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide the ultimate customer experience, always resulting in a smile.
• SALES & NEGOTIATION: Assess and quote customers on the removal of their unwanted items (We provide in-depth training) and pricing sheets the customer can view to easily understand our rate.
• RECYCLING & DONATION: Did you know that 1-800-GOT-JUNK? aims to be as environmentally responsible as possible, while being sure to follow local regulations. We do our best to keep items out of landfills by donating the donateables and recycling the recyclables as much as we can.
• TIME MANAGEMENT: Our business model aids in building your time-management skills, you manage your day like you are running your own business!

What you bring to the company:

• To qualify for commercial insurance underwriting, drivers must be 21+ years of age
• Valid NON-PROVISIONAL driver’s license (No CDL Required!)
• Have a clean driving history clean 3-years (No points, suspensions, or violations)
• A great attitude, reliability, and goal-driven mindset
• Comfortable lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds repeatedly
