Job summary

Nexair-LL is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to safely load, deliver, and unload compressed gas cylinders and related goods in Memphis. You will perform DOT-required inspections, manage documentation, and use handheld devices to track activity at customer sites.

The role requires a CDL with Hazmat, one year of driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 600 pounds with equipment. Strong safety focus and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A or B with Hazmat endorsement and a clean MVR.
• Ability to read MSDS and follow safety protocols.
• One year of driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload Cylinders and hard goods orders; return empty cylinders for refilling.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and complete required paperwork.
• Track delivery/pick-up using handheld device and record all required information.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Communicate with supervisor about maintenance, safety, and delivery efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong customer relations through on-site communication.

• Safely l oad , deliv er and un load cylinders containing compressed gases and hard goods orders ; return empty cylinders to branch or plant for refilling.
• Perform all required pre - and post -trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Complete all FDA/DOT required documenta tion.
• Track delivery and pick -up of cylinders at customer sites using handheld device and complete all the required information/steps during the delivery and pick -up process es.
• Keep truck clean and in line with DOT standards.
• Communicate with supervisor on truck maintenance, customer -related issues, and delivery efficiencie s.
• Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers .
• Identify and monitor customers’ needs and work with them to maintain proper hard goo ds and cylinder levels to minimize or eliminate emergency deliveries.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed .

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One (1) year driving experience.
• CDL A or B with H azmat Endorsement .
• Clean MVR driving record.
• Employee must be able to lift 65 lbs.
• Employee must meet all physical qualification standards imposed by the DOT.
• Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on concrete for an extended period of ti me ; bend ; use hands and arms ; and handle cylinders regularly weighing 150 pounds up to a maximum of 600 pounds .
• Flexibility to work overtime as required .
