Job summary

Nexair-LL is seeking a CDL-qualified delivery professional to load, transport, and unload cylinders and hard goods in Nashville. You will perform DOT pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate documentation, and interact with customers to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires Hazmat endorsement, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs with flexibility for overtime when needed. Proficiency with handheld delivery devices is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B with Hazmat endorsement.
• One year of driving experience.
• Clean MVR driving record.
• Able to lift 65 lbs.
• Must meet all DOT physical qualification standards.
• Ability to read and comprehend MSDS.
• Required to stand/walk on concrete for extended periods and operate cylinders weighing 150–600 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver and unload cylinders containing compressed gases and hard goods orders; return empty cylinders to branch or plant for refilling.

• Keep truck clean and in line with DOT standards.
• Communicate with supervisor on truck maintenance, customer-related issues, and delivery efficiencies.
• Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers.
• Identify and monitor customers’ needs and work with them to maintain proper hard goods and cylinder levels to minimize or eliminate emergency deliveries.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
