Job summary

Staples in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Cover Delivery Driver to support route coverage for vacations and absences, delivering office supplies with a focus on safety and service. You will load, organize, and deliver on assigned routes, use GPS and POD devices, and provide outstanding customer service while protecting our brand on wheels.

This role requires a valid license, ability to pass DOT checks, lift up to 70 lbs, and the flexibility to work overtime; Staples offers full-time and part-time

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.
• Pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC).
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime availability based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push/pull up to 400 lbs with equipment.
• Wear safety composite shoes and be at least 21 years old.
• Preferred: 1 year of truck driving or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive route assignments to cover vacations and absences at least 50% of the time.
• Provide outstanding customer service by resolving problems and accepting returns.
• Transport and deliver office supplies on assigned routes; load vehicles as needed.
• Organize and load product using manifests to optimize routes and schedules.
