Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist in Omaha, NE, to cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You’ll load and deliver garments and products, collect used items for return, and maintain route efficiency with accurate invoicing and inventory checks.

This role emphasizes customer service, safety on the road, and collaboration with Service and Management teams to support new accounts and rerouting efforts. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must meet DOT requirements including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer-specific details.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Load, transport, and unload goods; collect used or soiled garments for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving to ensure satisfaction.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory checks, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
