Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Eden, NC seeks a Bulk Account Merchandiser to manage selling, ordering, and presenting products on assigned daily routes, building strong retailer relationships and ensuring accurate orders.

You will execute promotions, rotate stock, merchandise displays, and support store personnel while prioritizing safety and quality. A valid driver’s license is required; mileage reimbursements apply for travel between stores.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Experience in customer service in retail or similar.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs).
• Demonstrated critical thinking and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manages, sells, and executes for an assigned group of customers on daily routes; generates sales orders to support revenue and gross profit.
• Executes promotions and new products according to LOS, marketing promotions, and plans to ensure RED scores.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures.
• Maintains back room, stacks and arranges product by package and flavor; manages pallets and damaged/out-of-date items.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials; rotates merchandisers and checks vendor operations.
• Builds relationships with store personnel through follow-ups, proactive pricing, and discussions of opportunities.
• Identifies competitive issues and market activities and performs duties safely.
