Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Project Manager to lead a route-based fiber construction and maintenance program. You will own schedules, budgets, and client relationships, coordinating Construction Coordinators and contractors from a PRG office.

The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, risk management, and clear status reporting to leadership and clients. PMP is a plus; office-based, with pay commensurate to experience and potential bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and field-based teams in fiber/telecom outside plant construction, utility construction, or related field-services.
• Experience coordinating route-based, outside-plant, or field-locate personnel is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals and outside plant construction practices (811 process, locate tickets, maps and prints).
• Proven ability to manage budgets and staffing plans and report project financials and status.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, written and verbal.
• Able to work in person from a PRG office location — office-based, not remote.
• PMP certification is a plus, not required.
• Pay: Commensurate with experience, $85,000–$110,000/year base, plus potential annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the route-based construction/maintenance program, primary accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and scope.
• Escalation point for field issues surface by Construction Coordinators or field changes.
• Collaborate with route-based Construction Coordinators to balance coverage and workload.
• Build and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, and budgets; track progress and flag risks.
• Review work against the scope of work (SOW) for quality and adherence.
• Act as the primary client-facing contact for status updates and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal PRG teams to keep staffing and resources.
• Analyze field data and locate activity to spot trends and risks.
• Prepare and present status reports and program metrics to leadership and clients.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of Construction Coordinators.
