Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is looking for a Round Sling Operator in Casselberry, FL to fabricate and repair synthetic lifting slings and operate the Round Sling Machine. You will coordinate production with the Production Manager and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires the ability to meet production deadlines, stand and lift up to 50 lbs, and pass pre-employment screenings. This is a full-time position in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet production demands and deadlines in a safe and timely manner.
• Must be able to stand, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies.
• Operate Round Sling Machine safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate the production of orders with the Production Manager.
• Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that fabricated items meet BLP's quality standards.
• Ensure test samples of fabricated items are forwarded to the Production Manager as required.

Job Purpose

The Round Sling Operator will operate the round sling machine and assist in the fabrication and repair of synthetic lifting slings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies
• Operate Round Sling Machine safely and efficiently
• Coordinate the production of orders with the Production Manager;
• Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that fabricated items are Manufactured to BLP's quality standards; and
• Ensure that test samples of fabricated items are forwarded to the Production Manager as required.
• Perform other functions as required.
