Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Round Sling Operator to fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies, and support production workflows.

You will operate the Round Sling Machine safely, coordinate orders with the Production Manager, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and ensure items meet quality standards while lifting up to 50 lbs and passing required screenings.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Must be able to meet production demands and deadlines in a safe and timely manner.
• Must be able to stand, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies
• Operate Round Sling Machine safely and efficiently
• Coordinate the production of orders with the Production Manager;
• Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that fabricated items are Manufactured to BLP's quality standards; and
• Ensure that test samples of fabricated items are forwarded to the Production Manager as required.
• Perform other functions as required.

Job Purpose:

The Round Sling Operator will operate the round sling machine and assist in the fabrication and repair of synthetic lifting slings.
