Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Round Sling Operator to operate the round sling machine and assist in fabricating and repairing synthetic lifting slings.

The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 lbs, meeting production deadlines, and passing pre-employment checks; you must be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, and able to work full-time in a safe production environment. This is a full-time role with pay between $16 and $19 hourly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet production demands and deadlines in a safe and timely manner.
• Must be able to stand, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies.
• Operate Round Sling Machine safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate the production of orders with the Production Manager.
• Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that fabricated items are Manufactured to BLP's quality standards.
• Ensure that test samples of fabricated items are forwarded to the Production Manager as required.
• Perform other functions as required.
