Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sewer in Casselberry, FL to operate an industrial sewing machine to manufacture synthetic slings and related materials. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with background checks and pre-employment screening.

Salary ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with a focus on safety and quality. The successful candidate will coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure timely, accurate production and adherence

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a production environment, specifically with industrial sewing equipment highly preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and pre-employment physical.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies; and
• Coordinate the production of orders with the Production Manager;
• Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that fabricated items are manufactured to BLP's quality standards; and
• Ensure that test samples of fabricated items are forwarded to the Production Manager as required.
• Perform other functions as required.
