Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of ceramic core removal using various corrosive materials.
• Familiar with metal cutoff, gate grinding, and CNC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledgeable with Six Sigma Methods and Tools.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in casting methods to design efficient processes that meet specs and deadlines.
• Analyze specifications and blueprints to translate them into procedures.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on heat treatment furnaces and related equipment.
• Develop and maintain clear shop instruction templates for consistent production.
• Request and follow up on quotes for equipment and supplies.
• Drive continuous improvement in Rough Finishing by sourcing equipment and upgrades.
• Perform and evaluate pyrometry surveys to maintain accurate temperature readings.
