Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a production technician for our Florida facility to perform essential duties in a fast-paced environment. You will inspect parts for defects, mask features for processing, braze and chemically treat components, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic reading ability, and prior light to medium industrial experience. Regular attendance and adherence to lean 5S principles are required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to pass reading test.
• Previous light and medium industrial experience preferred.
• Must be able to be proficient in one of the Essential Job Functions outlined in this Job Description.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and shipping: Inspect parts for defects, coating, and other quality issues.
• Masking: Apply masking materials per work instructions and requirements.
• Inspection: Visually inspect parts and use gauges to verify size and features.
• Blending: Belt sanding and blending components to original contours.
• Brazing: Apply braze alloy and stop-off as required.
• Chemical stripping: Prepare parts, immerse in chemicals, post-strip dry honing and finish.
• Aqueous cleaning: Run cleaning equipment and ensure parts are clean.
