Optima Aero USA Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Texas operation. The role ensures all rotorcraft work complies with Repair Station standards, manufacturer manuals, FARs, and airworthiness requirements.

You will verify records, tag parts, and aid in training while supporting approvals and inspections. Ideal candidates hold an active A&P license, with IA-FAA certification preferred, and bring 4+ years rotorcraft experience (2+ as a Quality Inspector).

Formación

• Active A&P license required; IA-FAA certification preferred.
• 4+ years rotorcraft experience, including 2+ years as Quality Inspector.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturer manuals (Bell, Airbus, Leonardo) and FARs.
• Experience in a 145 Repair Station environment.
• Excellent English communication and willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Verify work on aircraft complies with Repair Station, manufacturer, FAR and airworthiness requirements.
• Execute FAA forms (337, 8130-10, 8110) for major repairs or alterations.
• Perform preliminary, hidden damage, in-process and final inspections on all articles.
• Research aircraft records, assist in developing status sheets, and ensure proper tagging/identification of parts.
• Assist with Repair Station training and review work orders; support approvals.
