Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is seeking an HAA Pilot for a full-time role in Texas. The position includes a competitive salary range between $109,173 and $120,091, with a 23% geographic modifier, along with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and retention bonuses of $40,000 after three years plus additional retention incentives.

The role offers on-duty housing, a 7/7 schedule, and opportunities to work with a team dedicated to emergency air medical transport.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours required.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided) required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical professionals to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in manuals, including FARs and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans changes.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
