Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Georgia is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain our rotor-wing fleet in Upson County. This full-time role requires an A&P license, turbine helicopter experience, FAA knowledge, and a willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and on-call rotations.

You will perform mechanical inspections, repairs, inventory management, and document FAA records while coordinating with the Lead Technician and flight crew to ensure safe, timely patient

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver's license.
• FAA regulations knowledge.
• EMS and maintenance records experience.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• FAA drug/alcohol testing program eligibility.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections and repairs, reporting to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, stock of supplies, update tracking logs and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for efficient operations.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.
