Job summary

Voith US Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a Welder I, Rotor Repair to join our Manufacturing team. You will perform weld repair and grinding on rotors used in paper making, with training provided to develop welding skills.

The role offers a four 10-hour shift schedule (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri), a safety-focused environment, and enrollment in our benefits program including 401K with company match and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Manufacturing and/or industrial environment experience preferred.
• Candidate must be able to use basic measuring equipment.
• Candidate must have basic math skills.
• Ability to work on various shifts, if required.

Responsibilities

• Weld repair work on various rotors used in paper making.
• Grinding on rotors after weld repair has been done.
• Travel to customer locations to assist with field work may be required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Highly motivated with willingness to learn.
• Work unsupervised after training is complete.
