Job summary

Siemens Energy in Fort Payne, Alabama, is seeking a Rotor Coil Manufacturing Specialist Level 2 for the 2nd shift (Mon.-Thurs. 3:30PM–2:00AM). You will assemble turbine generator components in a climate-controlled factory with a focus on safety and quality.

Strong hands-on skills and the ability to read drawings are essential. The role offers entry-level opportunities in the Gas Services business unit; teamwork and craftsmanship are valued as you contribute to reliable, decarbonized power

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; technical training or certification in manufacturing or related field is a plus.
• Strong safety and quality mindset is required.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly, preferably in energy sector.
• Proficient with hand tools and machinery; able to read/learn technical drawings and specs.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generator components.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints for precision in manufacturing.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
