Job summary

Nordstrom is launching an accelerated Supply Chain Operations Manager in Training program in the United States. The role is an on-site, hands-on rotation through FC/DC operations to build leadership, analytics, and communication skills alongside senior leaders.

Ideal candidates graduate between Jan 2026 and Dec 2026 with a focus in SCM or related fields and may have 0–1 year of leadership experience. The program begins in February 2027 and applications are reviewed by Sept 29 for priority

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse/fulfillment experience in a DC/FC or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or graduation by Dec 2026.
• 0-1 year of people-leadership exposure (formal or informal).
• Willing to work full-time on-site in a hands-on fulfillment environment, with lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to adapt to varied shift schedules and to 24/7 operations.
• Open to relocation during or after the program for expanded career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in trainings, meetings, and workshops to develop leadership and management skills.
• Support current Supply Chain Operations Managers in daily processes to meet goals.
• Rotate between departments/shifts to gain operations understanding.
• Coach and mentor warehouse associates to drive performance and development.
• Assist with employee selection, onboarding, and training.
• Prioritize safety to ensure a safe work environment.
• Use data and analysis to improve departmental performance and KPIs.
