Qualifications
- Associate's degree in engineering technology or industrial technology required.
- Two years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or material handling preferred.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through steelmaking/processing areas and perform duties under supervision.
- Work on projects in engineering design, re-engineering, equipment installation, and failure mode analysis.
- Hands-on training to understand Metallus manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Apply engineering knowledge to build a foundation for advancement.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, products, and procedures to improve people, quality, velocity and cost.
- Communicate with internal departments and external organizations for projects.
