Thompson Safety is seeking an Account Executive Trainee in Ohio to rotate through field, service and sales roles over a structured program designed to build a career in sales. You will gain hands-on experience across departments and contribute to revenue growth.

The role emphasizes developing new skills through education and on-the-job training, meeting KPIs, and using CRM to manage activity and pipeline. Relocation may be required during or after the program.

Qualifications

• Degree or progress toward degree required or anticipated within six months.
• Relocation willingness for program duration or after completion.
• Demonstrated leadership in campus or extracurricular activities.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through field, service and sales positions.
• Develop new skills through educational programs and on-the-job training.
• Meet KPI’s for each job performed throughout the rotational program.
• Assist in developing new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
• Utilize CRM technology to document activity and track results.
• Maintain contact with prospects through in-person sales calls and phone block.
• Develop new appointments through territory prospecting and scheduled phone blocks to ensure activity and pipeline meet tenure standards.
• Assist in company marketing programs/initiatives, as needed.
• Observe and benchmark with Account Executives and Service Representatives to establish best practices.
• Consistently install new business within assigned territory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
