Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a Sales Trainee in New York to join a 12-18 month training program designed to prepare you for a long-term career as an Account Executive. The role will be office-based and emphasize sales and customer service excellence.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing and may have 2 years of outside selling experience or industry familiarity. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing is required.
• Two years outside selling experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and reliable transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times.
• Participate in a 12-18 month sales training program to prepare for a long-term position with BCI as an Account Executive.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service standards set annually.
• Achieve goals developed with the Sales Manager.
• Contribute new and innovative ideas to advance the business.
• Review training program goals weekly with the Sales Manager to ensure skills development.
• Exhibit professional behavior and respect in all interactions.
• This is a full-time role in an office setting.
