Job summary

Ziegler Inc. is launching a Sales Development Program to build a strong foundation for a successful long-term career in sales.

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll rotate through Sales, Parts, Service, Product Support, Marketing, and Technology while learning from mentors and leaders across the organization. After six to eight months of training, top performers may be placed in a Sales Representative or Account Manager role in Minneapolis, MN or Des Moines, IA.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Strong industry background; prior sales experience in construction or agriculture is a plus.
• Excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to operate equipment for demonstration after training.

Responsibilities

• Learn Ziegler’s structure, units, and internal workflows.
• Communicate progress with your direct supervisor regarding training and development.
• Shadow Sales Representatives and Account Managers during visits, calls, and demonstrations.
• Develop basic product knowledge of Ziegler’s equipment lines.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer information in the CRM.
• Support branch operations by observing parts, service, and product support activities.
