Suffolk Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer for its Career Start program in Toledo, OH. This two-year rotation offers experience in Project Management, Estimating, and Field Operations, designed for recent graduates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Liberal Arts, or related field
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Computer literate
• Good communication skills
• Accurate with an attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Assist with Subcontractor database and pricing documents
• Perform quantity take-offs and use of Digitizer and scales
• Organize take-offs using spreadsheets and develop bid clarifications/RFIs
• Develop scope and pricing for subcontractors; participate in Architect/Owner meetings
• Support field operations including shop drawings review and project documentation
• Assist in project management processes: change orders, procurement, and submittals
• Participate in project meetings and maintain baseline schedules and safety practices
