Job summary

Suffolk is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer for its two-year Career Start program, beginning in July 2027 in Columbus, OH. The role features three eight-month rotations across Project Management, Estimating and Field Operations.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to bid development, procurement, scheduling, and site coordination on mission-critical projects. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, 0–2 years of experience, and strong communication

Responsibilities

• Assist with estimating, subcontractor pricing, and bid documents.
• Support project management activities including scheduling and change orders.
• Process shop drawings and verify against project documents.
• Support field operations with project documentation and safety compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and procurement processes.
