Higley Construction in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an entry-level Construction Project Engineer. You will rotate through operations, safety, project controls, estimating, and business development over 3–5 years to build core skills and determine a future career path within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or relevant experience.
• 1–2 years in engineering, construction management, or related field is beneficial.
• Engineering certifications such as an EIT are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and read construction drawings and documents; know general industry terminology.
• Manage RFI’s, submittals, drawing coordination, and project correspondence.
• Assist PM with change management and field coordination; support subcontractor management.
• Contribute to safety initiatives and safe job site practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service to colleagues, owners, reps, architects, and subcontractors.
• Engage in project processes, procedures, and systems rotations as part of career development.
