Job summary

Porex seeks a Process Quality Engineer to join a rotational program that provides exposure to Operations and Quality, followed by a choice between Production Planning or Production Supervisor roles for the final rotation. This immersive program prepares you for a non-rotational role upon completion of three rotations, up to 24 months.

New graduates or those with up to two years of post-graduate experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• New graduates or up to 2 years of postgraduate experience encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality systems in production environments.
• Foundational knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Six Sigma; problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions to optimize performance and reduce waste.
• Manage and document process validations, equipment installation, and manufacturing method improvements.
• Support operations with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing variability and improving throughput.
• Lead or support production planning and scheduling within rotations to meet demand.
