Job summary

Cornerstone Management Solutions seeks an experienced Rotational Molding Process Specialist to help establish, develop, and optimize a new rotational molding operation in Michigan. This role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to bring equipment into production from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with rotational molding processes and production operations.
• Strong knowledge of polyethylene resins and molding cycles.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects, equipment malfunctions, and quality issues independently.
• Willingness to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup and optimization of new rotational molding equipment and processes.
• Set processing parameters: heating, cooling, rotation speeds, and cycle times.
• Troubleshoot defects such as warpage, pinholes, and uneven wall thickness.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and temp-control issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement process improvements to reduce scrap and improve cycle times.
• Evaluate mold conditions, resins, and tooling performance for consistent quality.
• Support installation, commissioning, mold trials, and new product introductions.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.
• Develop SOPs, documentation, and troubleshooting guidelines; train operators.
• Help establish and expand the rotation molding operation with future leadership potential.
