Responsibilities

• Lead startup and optimization of new rotational molding equipment and processes.
• Set processing parameters: heating, cooling, rotation speeds, and cycle times.
• Troubleshoot defects such as warpage, pinholes, and uneven wall thickness.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and temp-control issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement process improvements to reduce scrap and improve cycle times.
• Evaluate mold conditions, resins, and tooling performance for consistent quality.
• Support installation, commissioning, mold trials, and new product introductions.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.
• Develop SOPs, documentation, and troubleshooting guidelines; train operators.
• Help establish and expand the rotation molding operation with future leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical setup, startup, and optimization of new rotational molding equipment and production processes.
• Establish and maintain processing parameters, including heating, cooling, rotation speeds, and cycle times.
• Troubleshoot rotational molding defects, including warpage, pinholes, uneven wall thickness, incomplete fusion, and dimensional inconsistencies.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and temperature‑control issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and increase production efficiency.
• Evaluate mold conditions, material selection, polyethylene resins, and tooling performance to ensure consistent product quality.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, mold trials, and new product introductions.
• Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical and manufacturing challenges.
• Develop standard operating procedures, processing documentation, and troubleshooting guidelines while training production operators.

Requirements

• Demonstrated hands‑on experience with rotational molding processes, equipment, and production operations.
• Strong knowledge of polyethylene resins, mold heating and cooling cycles, processing parameters, and rotational molding techniques.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot molding defects, equipment malfunctions, and production quality problems.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, self‑motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a hands‑on manufacturing environment. Must be willing to work onsite
