Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rotational molding machines in accordance with daily production schedules.
• Monitor indicators to ensure products meet specification and make adjustments as needed.
• Interpret and follow production orders, blueprints, and work instructions for mold setups and cycle times.
• Regulate machine settings (pressure, temperature, speed, feed rates).
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools for defects.
• Perform routine mold maintenance and prep for optimal machine performance.
• Trim, deburr, and prepare molded parts to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow housekeeping protocols.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Identify and recommend improvements to production methods and quality.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions; comply with policies and safety guidelines.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rotational molding machines in accordance with daily production schedules.


• Ensure products are manufactured to specification by monitoring machine indicators, performing in-process inspections, and adjusting as needed.


• Interpret and follow production orders, blueprints, and work instructions for mold setups, temperatures, and cycle times.


• Regulate machine settings, including pressure, temperature, speed, and feed rates, using controls and dials.


• Inspect finished products for visual defects and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring tools.


• Perform routine mold maintenance and preparation to ensure optimal machine performance.


• Trim, deburr, and prepare molded parts as necessary to meet quality standards.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all housekeeping protocols.


• Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production targets and deadlines.


• Identify and recommend improvements to production methods, machine performance, and product quality.


• Demonstrate consistent and punctual attendance and communicate schedule changes in advance.


• Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.


• Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and quality assurance procedures.


• Willingness to work overtime and cross-train in other manufacturing roles as needed.


• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Accountabilities

• Conduct precise measurements and visual inspections of finished products to identify surface or dimensional defects, ensuring compliance with quality specifications using appropriate measuring instruments.


• Monitor the continuous operation of automated molding equipment to verify production quality, detect malfunctions, and make real-time adjustments. Report issues outside operator control to maintenance personnel promptly.


• Set up, operate, and monitor plastic molding, casting, or core-making machines to produce thermoplastic parts in accordance with production requirements.


• Adjust machine controls-such as valves, dials, and timers-to regulate pressure, temperature, speed, feed rates, and cycle times as specified.


• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine correct machine settings, molding parameters, and production sequences.


• Perform routine mold maintenance and preparation to ensure equipment readiness and minimize downtime.


• Trim, deburr, and prepare molded parts as needed to meet product quality standards.


• Proactively suggest and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency, equipment performance, and overall product quality.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
