Job summary

Sysco Houston is launching a 6-month trainee program that rotates through Merchandising, Inventory Management, Logistics, Revenue Management, and FSQA, building end-to-end knowledge of supply chain and product management to ensure the right assortment, in-stock, and price.

Upon completion, participants are matched to open Commercial roles that fit their demonstrated capabilities and interests, with mentorship from senior leaders to develop leadership, analytical, and cross-functional skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required or preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Merchandising, Food Science, or Hospitality Management.
• Demonstrated leadership, time management, collaboration, and problem-solving through internships or relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to groups and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Participate in department rotations and training modules in Supply Chain, Logistics, Category Management, Operations Merchandising, FSQA, or Growth.
• Perform daily functions within rotations to support operational deliverables.
• Complete structured development modules covering core business topics.
• Engage in site visits with operating centers, customers, and suppliers with Sysco leadership.
