Alpek Polyester USA, LLC is seeking motivated engineering students to join its Rotational Engineering Co‑Op Program at the Bay St Louis, MS facility. The selected candidates will work on diverse projects across chemical process equipment, manufacturing support, and capital initiatives, while developing technical and leadership skills in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degrees, with a willingness to learn DCS concepts and

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in an engineering field.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing facility experience preferred.
• Understanding of statistics as applied to designed experiments and process variability.
• Willingness to learn about process control systems in a DCS environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with projects on new product development, process improvement, capacity and debottlenecking.
• Support design, installation, startup and maintenance of chemical process equipment.
• Generate improvement projects across the polyester stream from ideas.
• Provide project management and technical support for capital projects.
• Participate in long-term process improvement and cost-savings initiatives.
• Evaluate new process and equipment applications and recommend improvements.
