Qualifikationen

• Must be a current student enrolled full-time pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Majoring in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–2 years experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of statistics as it applies to designed experiments and understanding process variability.
• Working knowledge of or willingness to learn about process control systems in a DCS environment.
• Good analytical skills (ability to interpret process historical trends, analytical results).
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team to improve supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
• Results oriented; translate business needs into priorities and actions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Work with engineering teams and support groups on complex product, process, and equipment problems.
• Lead design, installation, startup, and maintenance/improvement of chemical process equipment.
• Initiate ideas for improvement projects across the polyester stream.
• Provide project management and technical support for capital projects.
• Participate in long-term process improvement and cost savings initiatives.
• Evaluate new product/process/equipment applications and implement improvements.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and operations groups.
• Assist in startup on new processes and equipment; may include shift coverage.
