Job summary

The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) offers an entry-level Rotational Engineer program for December 2026 or May 2027 graduates. You will rotate four months each across Engineering, Survey and Technology, gaining broad exposure to ABS operations while building a strong technical and business foundation.

Through hands-on projects, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of ABS policies, processes, and operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in an engineering discipline as listed.
  • Minimum GPA not specified; internship/co-op experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and leadership potential.
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Spring, Texas by July 2027.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in four-month rotations across Engineering, Survey and Technology.
  • Engage in cross-functional assignments and action-learning projects with ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Complete formal midpoint and final evaluations during each rotation.
