FirstEnergy Corp in Akron, OH invites applications for the Rotational Engineering (ROE) Program. This 18-month, three-rotation program provides early-career engineers with hands-on experience across Transmission, Distribution, and Construction & Design Services.

As an entry-level engineer you will engage in engineering tasks, research, and project support, with coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for continued education.

Qualificações

• B.S. in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• 0+ years of engineering experience.
• Co-op or internship preferred.
• Ability to report to assigned work location(s).
• Familiarity with NEC and safety codes.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify risks and implement safety measures for a safe work environment.
• Perform technical research and analysis, interpret results and make recommendations.
• Develop and implement technical solutions for basic processes/projects.
• Prepare engineering change packages, specifications, technical reports and presentations.
• Produce engineering output documents and minor modifications.
• Manage activities to support timely system operations.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and standards.
• Provide sound customer service.
• Deliver results across projects and across teams.
• Support project startup and ongoing collaboration.
