Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. offers the Career Foundation Program (CFP) for recent graduates to rotate through functional tracks including Sales, Operations, Hog Procurement, Distribution, Supply Chain, and more.

Associates work with mentors and managers during 18–24 month rotations and may apply for open positions after 12 months, with merit-based selections. Relocation is available, and travel is required up to 15–25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university; or currently enrolled college student with anticipated graduation by end of current semester.
• Be able to relocate one to two times during rotation.
• Must possess a high level of professionalism, discretion and ability to self‑manage time from remote locations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
