Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Career Foundation Program (CFP) Associate in Corporate Finance to analyze business results and track financial targets. You will learn our business, challenge performance, and help identify threats and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

Through rotations lasting 18–24 months, you will gain exposure to planning, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with senior leaders and managers to drive insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or current student with graduation anticipated
• Knowledge of financial and business principles
• High level of professionalism, discretion and ability to self-manage from remote locations
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Travel up to 15-25% of the time; periodic overnight travel may be required
• Currently authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction to the business line managers and channel management
• Support the Company's financial reporting and analytical data requests
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts
• Perform special requests and participate in projects/presentations
