Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. invites candidates to join the Career Foundation Program (CFP) designed for recent graduates. Associates rotate across tracks such as Sales & Business, Operations, Hog Procurement, Distribution Center, Supply Chain, and more, each lasting 18 to 24 months.

Mentorship and training are provided by senior leaders and program managers to develop leadership and functional expertise. CFP Associates contribute to department goals, tackle projects, and pursue internal openings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
• Be able to relocate one to two times during rotation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support problem-solving within assigned rotations and projects.
• Assume leadership roles for select projects within departments.
• Assist in achieving short- and long-term objectives across departments.
• Provide guidance and participate in mentoring and talent-acquisition activities during rotations.
