Job summary

Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care across adults and neonates, including ventilation support, ABG analysis and PFTs. You will work under indirect supervision, following department policies and focusing on patient safety and quality care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program, BLS/ACLS, NBRC registration, Texas licensure, and at least 6 months of experience in respiratory

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NBRC credentialing and Texas licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutics including oxygen, aerosol therapy and ventilation support.
• Conduct ABG, PFT, ECG and related cardiopulmonary assessments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment and ensure infection control.
