Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of engineering experience with industrial rotating machinery.
• Familiarity with ASME Code Sections VIII/III and relevant regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards and specs.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps and rotating equipment is a plus.
• Proficient in MathCad, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Translate design specs and code requirements into product design; oversee drawings and reports.
• Review customer purchase orders for engineering content to meet requirements.
• Provide technical support to clients for operation and regulatory compliance.
• Write Technical Evaluations for revisions or substitutions with customer approval.
• Review Engineering Change Requests and derive scope of work.
• Assist manufacturing to meet design requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Disposition discrepant material reports related to relevant ASME sections.
