Augment Professional Services is seeking a Millwright Mechanic to install, align, maintain, and repair heavy mechanical equipment for energy, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

You will read blueprints, use precision tools, and work closely with engineers and site supervisors to ensure safe installations and reliable operation on complex systems. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and align industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Use precision tools (dial indicators, laser alignment systems, micrometers) for accurate fit and alignment
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and rotating equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
  • Inspect parts for wear, damage, or misalignment and recommend corrective actions
  • Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete project scopes
  • Follow all site safety protocols and report hazards or near‑misses
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are in good working order
