Job summary

Voith Turbo, Inc. in Houston, TX, is seeking a developmental Field Service Manager to lead field service operations for high‑complex rotating equipment. You will perform hands-on service while progressively assuming leadership, customer management, and personnel responsibilities.

As the on-site senior technical resource, you will mentor field reps, coordinate scheduling and resources, and ensure safety, quality, and timely service delivery while driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of field service experience in rotating equipment or related industries.
• Proven leadership capability with experience leading field crews or service teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce or related ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform field service activities on rotating equipment, including commissioning and maintenance.
• Lead complex field service projects and mentor on-site personnel.
• Coordinate scheduling, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet customer commitments.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in all service activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Service teams to deliver complete customer solutions.
